This International Epilepsy Day (10th February), we are launching ACT FAST, STOP SEIZURES, SAVE LIVES, a campaign to highlight the critical need for rapid intervention in prolonged convulsive seizures. Neuraxpharm

As part of our ACT FAST, STOP SEIZURES, SAVE LIVES campaign, Neuraxpharm are proud to share Part 2 of our video series highlighting the critical importance of acting quickly during prolonged convulsive seizures.

Seizures that last too long can lead to serious complications, including hashtagStatusEpilepticus, which requires urgent medical attention. Early intervention can prevent hospitalisations and save lives.

This new video features:
🟪 Prof. Matthew Walker, Professor of Neurology at UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology
🟪 Tom Jensen, Researcher at UCL, who shares his personal journey of living with epilepsy

Together, they shed light on seizure emergencies, the importance of access to rescue medication, and why rapid response is vital. Watch the video now and help us spread awareness by sharing.

You can also visit their campaign page to watch both videos and learn more about managing seizure emergencies: https://lnkd.in/dFpeFBFu

Neuraxpharm are committed to not only raising awareness about the importance of rapid response to epilepsy seizure emergencies but also bringing hope to everyone affected by this disease.

Seizures don’t wait – neither should we. By acting fast, we can make a real difference.
