During this online lecture Professor Ashley Bush will review the latest exciting progress in Alzheimer’s and ageing research at the Florey.
At the Florey we have several major projects ongoing to determine the cause of Alzheimer’s disease and how it is linked to its major risk factor, ageing. We also have an imaging project to improve diagnosis and prediction, as well as clinical trials of potentially curable drugs.
Ashley Bush is Director of the Melbourne Dementia Research Centre at The Florey Institute of Neuroscience & Mental Health, and a NHMRC Leadership Fellow and Professor of Neuroscience and Psychiatry at the University of Melbourne.
