The European Society of Minimally Invasive Neurological Therapy (ESMINT) has announced its new leadership team following its General Assembly at the 18th ESMINT Congress in Marseille on 2 September 2026.

Members elected a new President, General Secretary and Treasurer for the 2026–2028 term, alongside Standing Committee Chairs for 2026–2029. The General Assembly also approved the appointment of Michael Walker as Executive Director.

The new Executive Board will be supported by ESMINT’s Standing Committee Chairs, representing the Society’s four principal areas of Education, Research, Network and Outreach.

Standing Committee Chairs

Within Education, Adam Rennie will chair the ECMINT Committee, Wim van Zwam the EXMINT Committee, Jan-Hendrik Buhk the Online Learning Committee, Matthias Gawlitza the Examination Committee, and Matthias Bechstein the Fellowship and e-Fellowship Committee.

Within Research, Tilman Schubert will chair the Guidelines Committee, Aymeric Rouchaud the Research and Publication Committee, and Paolo Machi the New Product Introduction and Evaluation Committee.

The Network cluster includes Isabel Fragata as Chair of the Internal Affairs Committee, Adrien Guenego as Chair of the Electronic Media Committee, Franziska Dorn as Chair of WIN@ESMINT, and Anna Kyselyova and Roland Schwab as Co-Chairs of the EYMINT Committee.

For Outreach, Laurent Spelle will chair the External Affairs Committee, Audrius Sirvinskas the Eastern Countries Committee and Markus Möhlenbruch the Professional Liaison Committee.

The appointments bring together specialists from across Europe who will help support ESMINT’s educational, scientific, professional and international activities over the coming years.
